Dr. Brian Goo
Dr. Brian Goo grew up in neighboring La Crescenta, CA and attended Crescenta Valley High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He moved back to Southern California and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California. Here, he was placed on the Dean’s List, inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, and awarded the Pierre Fauchard Senior Student Award. While attending dental school, he was also involved in community outreach programs, including the USC Mobile Dental Clinic.
To pursue his passion in oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Goo continued his training in Oakland, CA, where he completed his 4-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Highland General Hospital. During his training, Dr. Goo and his colleagues treated a variety of oral and maxillofacial conditions at both Highland Hospital and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, ranging from facial trauma to head and neck infections.
He gained further training in orthognathic surgery at Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center.After years of providing care in a group practice in the Bay Area, Dr. Goo along with his wife, canine, and two felines decided to make the trek back down to Southern California and establish their roots in the City of Roses.
Dr. Goo is committed to providing ethical, compassionate, and comforting oral surgical care to his patient’s and to his community.
Dr. Goo is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ABOMS) and a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) as well as the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (CALAOMS). He is also a member of the Southern California Orofacial Academy (SCOA), American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and San Gabriel Valley Dental Society (SGVDS).
